Job Title: Lunch Aide (Non-Union, Hourly Position)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and caring individual to join our team as a Lunch Aide. This position plays a vital role in ensuring a safe, clean, and positive environment for students during lunch periods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise students in the cafeteria during lunch waves to ensure a safe and respectful environment.
• Monitor student behavior and encourage positive social interactions.
• Assist with light clean-up duties between lunch waves (including wiping tables).
• Support school staff in maintaining order and cleanliness in the cafeteria.
• Respond to minor student needs and escalate issues to appropriate personnel when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Enjoy working with children and maintaining a positive, respectful demeanor.
• Ability to stand and move around for extended periods.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to follow directions.
• Previous experience in a school or childcare setting is a plus, but not required.
