ANNOUNCEMENT: Please be advised that the Enfield Public Schools is accepting applications for the following position.

 

POSITION(S): Elementary Instructional Teaching Assistant
(temporary: through the 2024-2025 school year only)
QUALIFICATIONS:

 

o Bachelor’s degree, prior teaching experience, or concurrent enrollment in a pre-service teaching program preferred

 

o Prior experience working in a classroom setting

 

o Ability to facilitate small group instruction

 

o Ability to assist in developing and preparing activities in collaboration with the classroom teacher

 

o Ability to partner with classroom teacher to independently deliver classroom instruction

 

o Strong math and literacy skills

 

HOURLY RATE: $25.00 per hour to start
BENEFITS: Single plan coverage
HOURS PER WEEK: 6.5 hours per day (follows the school calendar)
